Cycling around Ó Lochlainn stones

Cycling Around Ó Lochlainn Stones, by Paul Loughnane of The Wirral, Liverpool, England has been posted in Articles.

This story is based on Paul’s two cycling trips to the Burren, Aran Islands and to both shores of Galway Bay.

Muintir Edward writes:

The tours which Paul engaged in present both the landscape and seascapes of the Burren region of North Clare, located on the southern shore of Galway Bay.

His visit to the Aran Islands illustrate those links which the ÓLochlainn clan once had to this island territory during tribal times in the first millennium. Those three islands also display a similiar limestone geological structure to the Burren landscape.
